FIPIF offers legal services to their member companies and negotiates collective agreements.
The Finnish Plastics Industries Federation conducts, in cooperation with the Chemical Industry Federation of Finland, negotiations on collective agreements that affect more than 11,000 people and support member companies in applying and interpreting these collective agreements.
The mission of the labor market sector is to:
- To negotiate competitive collective agreements to the plastics industry
- To help companies understand what the collective agreements withhold and how they should be applied in practice
- To educate member companies in solving arguments with employees
- To help companies with legal processes
We promote the culture of local agreements. In addition, our service to member companies includes consultation on managing organizational changes, interpretation of employment conditions as well as dispute resolution in employment matters. We co-operate closely with international labour market organizations representing the plastics industry.
